It has been reported by Retail Week that a former Kingfisher executive is among one of the top contenders for the Kingfisher CEO role.
Regis Schultz is currently Chairman and CEO of Monoprix, the leading French city centre retailer. His LinkedIn profile states that he has worked in several French and international groups including Castorama, Kingfisher, B&Q, But and Darty, over the last fifteen years, as well as across several different sectors, including DIY, furniture, electricals, food and clothing.
Between 2005 and 2008, Mr Schultz held roles including commercial director, chief financial officer and chief operating officer, at B&Q.
The former chief executive of Direct Line, Paul Geddes, is also understood to be one of the final candidates in the search to replace outgoing-CEO Veronique Laury.
