Over 25 former Bathstore employees have a bright future ahead of them after being hired Wren Kitchens.

As the fastest growing bricks and mortar kitchen retailer, Wren is always on the lookout for talent, so it reached out to those affected such as skilled designers and retail employees who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

Wren has held several retail recruitment events where hundreds of applicants have applied including Bathstore job seekers who are eager to work at Wren’s state-of-the-art showrooms across the UK.

Now, those lucky recruits have been fully immersed into the Wren family with a comprehensive two-week training course at Wren’s headquarters, The Nest.

Daryl Richardson, 27, is a fully-fledged Kitchen Designer at the Doncaster showroom. She recently trained at the Wren Training Academy.

“As soon as I stepped into a Wren showroom I was blown away, I wish I had worked for Wren sooner!” said Daryll, who previously worked at Bathstore for 18 months.

“It was obviously a tough time when Bathstore was going into administration so when the job opportunity came available at Wren I jumped at the chance. I had no doubts as I’d heard so many people speaking highly about it!”

Another former Bathstore employee, Zak Hodson, 27, will be based at the brand-new Blackburn showroom which opens on Friday, 13th September where he’ll be a Kitchen Designer.

“I can’t wait to get stuck in and work for such a professional organisation – I’m very lucky to be here,” added Zak.

“As Wren is a thriving business, it gives you real peace of mind and a sense of security for your livelihood.”

The duo has joined over 1,000 expert Kitchen Designers at Wren, and that figure will continue to grow as the expansion of the kitchen retailer continues rapidly.

Training is always key to Wren’s expert designers, and Wren has plans of further investment with seven new training suites located at its showrooms, as well as six new training programmes to further enhance its first-class training.

Wren has ambitious plans to continually strengthen its retail presence with the opening of eight more showrooms in 2019. Next year it will be launching showrooms in Bradford, Harrogate, Wakefield, Banbury, Wolverhampton and Worcester to name a few, therefore it’s on the look-out for Kitchen Designers and exceptional retail employees to join the Wren family.  Email recruitment@wrenkitchens.com with a copy of your CV and covering letter if you're interested in joining Wren.
