A 17 day firebreak in Wales starting at 6pm on Friday will see garden centres closed for half term.

First Minister Mark Drakeford has ordered everyone in Wales to stay at home to break the rapidly increasing spread of coronavirus in Wales.

All non-essential retail, leisure and tourism businesses will close from Friday 23 October at 18:00 BST to midnight of Sunday 8th November.  Pubs and restaurants will also have to close.

Small firms in retail, leisure and hospitality which have to close will get a one off payment of up to £5,000 and every firm covered by small business rates relief will get £1,000.

Can garden centres still operate Click & Collect?

The HTA said, “It is unclear whether garden centres are allowed to operate Click & Collect and home delivery and so we are urgently requesting clarity on the matter."
