Festive Like-For-Like Sales Rise 1.1% at Robert Dyas
During the six weeks to December 24th, the Theo Paphitis Retail Group - owner of Robert Dyas, Ryman and Boux Avenue - reported a 3.6% rise in LFL sales.
Group online sales grew 27.4% while sales at bricks and mortar store sales suffered a 1.1% decline.
- Robert Dyas’ LFL sales increased by 1.1%
- Boux Avenue LFL sales rose 8.1% overall, with 42.8% of sales coming from online.
- Ryman's LFL sales rose by 3.9%
Full-year sales at Robert Dyas for the year ended March 31st 2018 reached £123.9m; a rise of 0.4%. Like for like sales grew 2.7% during the period.
An operating loss of £780,000 was reported (previous year: profit of £713,000) and was attributed to a new warehouse and online investment.
