Draper Tools Announces New CEO
Draper Tools has appointed Matt Sheen as its new CEO, taking over the role from Graham Wade who is retiring after 38 years with the business.
Sheen began working in a sales position for Draper in 1993, moving on to work for Bosch and Lawson HIS. He went on to become managing director of Metabo and Hikoki, before re-joining Draper in January of this year.
Matt Sheen said: “It’s a great honour to be with Draper Tools, and as the new CEO,”
“Draper is a company which has a great heritage and a strong team, with investment in additional key personnel in recent times, especially since the Covid pandemic. The company is still very much family orientated, with them supporting the direction and focus of the business.”
John, Tom and Joe Draper said: “While we are sad to lose Graham, who is like one of the family to us, we are so excited to welcome Matt to the team. We know he’ll be a real asset to the business and look forward to working closely with him as he leads Draper into its next chapter.
“Recent years have seen a great deal of innovation and modernisation here and we’re not slowing down, with Matt on board we know we’re in a strong position to continue our plans for growth and expansion.”
For over a century, Draper Tools has been providing customers with exceptional service and quality tools. Established in 1919, by Bert Draper, the company is still proudly family owned and run today. While Draper Tools has evolved and expanded, its dedication to product quality and customer service has remained a constant priority.
