Double discounts at Focus this weekend

Shoppers at DIY and gardening chain Focus DIY have double reason to celebrate this January with the launch of two additional winter discounts.

The winter reduction, which kicks off this Friday 21st January and runs until Monday 24th January inclusive, will give all shoppers a discount of 15% when they spend £50 or over in store.

Bringing double savings to shoppers, the DIY chain will then be offering a Focus Winter Discount Card this weekend only, which will be issued to customers when they make their purchase. The card will entitle shoppers to a further 10% off all purchases made until 27th February.

The bonus weekend discount joins Focus DIY’s existing January sale with up to 60% off all kitchens and bathrooms, plus an additional 20% discount thanks to Focus DIY’s VAT free period. The offer is available until 31st January.

FOCUS was the first home improvement store to start its January sale early, starting five days ahead of other DIY outlets on the 13th December 2010.

Michael Greenhalgh, Head of Marketing from Focus DIY says: “We are delighted to offer additional discounts to our already popular Winter Sale. Cash can be tight in January so we wanted to launch an additional bonus for shoppers. The Winter Sale gives customers two chances to enjoy discount on all purchases, offering the ideal opportunity for those looking to spruce up their home in time for spring.

“Customers also have the added advantage of being able to use their Focus Winter Discount Card until the end of February, offering them the flexibility to grab additional bargains from our superb range of home and garden items.”

The card cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount card or money off voucher or major discount promotion as specified. Offer excludes lawnmowers, gift vouchers, goods from in store concessions, the Internet and other such products as may be specified from time to time.
