Dobbies reports on 2015 trading

According to filings at Companies House, Dobbies Garden Centres achieved a pre-tax profit of £14.5m in the year ending 28th February 2016.

In the 53 weeks ended 1st March 2013, Dobbies reported a pre-tax loss of £48.4m, which the company said arose ‘as a result of a £54.4m impairment of the Company’s tangible and intangible assets’.

Sales during the reporting period reached £153.7m, compared with £152.9m in 2015.

Dobbies appointed a new chairman in August this year.
