Dobbies Garden Club reaches a landmark 100,000 members
Dobbies Garden Club reached a major milestone in the UK-wide club’s history when it welcomed its 100,000th member, who is local to the Lanarkshire Dobbies, last week.
Mrs Cook won a whopping £1000 shopping spree plus a tasty lunch in her local Clyde Valley store. In true Dobbies style, this was no ordinary spree and Mrs Cook got into the spirit of the occasion and dug-in with an old school trolley dash round the store.
Mrs Cook said, “When I found out that I was the lucky 100,000th Garden Club Member I could not believe it – especially considering it could have been any Dobbies customer from across the UK! I am absolutely delighted and looking forward to enjoying my gardening goodies. Choosing to buy a Garden Club card that day in Dobbies was the best idea I’ve ever had!”
Steven Guthrie, Customer Relationship Executive for Dobbies Garden Club said, “I want to thank all our Garden Club members for being part of our club and helping us welcome our 100,000th member to our garden-loving group. This is a proud day for everyone associated with Garden Club – both staff and members alike, and we look forward to welcoming more gardening enthusiasts over the coming year.”
Dobbies Garden Club is an annual membership club, which has a £12 joining fee, offering customers the chance to be part of a great value loyalty and rewards scheme – including free cuppas in Dobbies restaurants. The club offers a variety of added extras throughout the year including invitations to discount shopping evenings and exclusive restaurant events.
