Dobbies Adds New GRIDSERVE EV Charging Points At Ashford Store

• Six charging bays installed for Dobbies customers in Ashford

• 64 GRIDSERVE charging bays at Dobbies across the UK   

Dobbies’ Ashford store has opened six new electric vehicle (EV) charging bays for its customers in its car park at Rutherford Road, taking the total number to 64. 

Delivered in partnership with GRIDSERVE, the bays include six charging bays served by three chargers capable of up to 180kW.

Dobbies and GRIDSERVE Electric Retail Hub’s long-term partnership aims to increase the number of charging locations across the UK. 

To make it as easy as possible for customers to charge their EV, the Dobbies Ashford Electric Retail Hub features CCS and CHAdeMO connectors, accepts contactless payment, and provides real-time status updates to popular EV charging maps. 

Graham Newton, General Manager for Dobbies, said: “The charging stations we’ve introduced in other Dobbies stores are always in high demand, so we’re delighted to be offering our customers additional charging stations at Ashford.
