Decorating And DIY Specialist Prepares For Hammersmith Opening
A leading decorating and DIY specialist is continuing its rapid growth across London by launching a new store in Hammersmith – with more openings planned for 2023.
Leyland SDM will cut the ribbon on its 33rd store – at 137-139 King Street – on Wednesday (February 8).
The new store will provide a welcome jobs boost to the local economy as well as offering additional convenience for tradespeople and homeowners.
Leyland SDM has bucked the nationwide trend with eight new stores opened in the last two years. The business today revealed plans for more outlets during a busy 2023.
Martin Hastings, CEO of Leyland SDM, said: “We’re excited to be continuing our growth with the arrival of our Hammersmith store.
“Hammersmith is an area we’ve been targeting for some time. It’s in a busy retail location with a high level of footfall, which is ideal for both trade professionals requiring materials and people carrying out DIY at home.
“Everyone visiting can benefit from the expert DIY knowledge of our colleagues and first-class service, including express delivery if required.
“While other retailers are closing, we’re proud to be pushing on with our progression plans. This is the first of multiple new stores due to open this year and we’re sure it will be well received by people in the area.”
There will be special events on the open day and a £1,000 prize giveaway running during the opening month.
The Hammersmith store will stock a comprehensive range of thousands of products across all departments, including paint and decorating essentials, building materials, electrical fittings, tools, plumbing equipment, ironmongery and much more, all under one roof.
The store will be open from 6.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. It also benefits from a loading bay.
Leyland SDM has grown to become one of the most recognisable and trusted decorating and DIY companies in central London with stores in prominent locations across the city.
Some of the biggest and best-known DIY brands are available at Leyland SDM, including Farrow & Ball, Tesa, Bahco, Bosch, Purdy, Dulux Trade, Leyland Trade, Stanley, Ronseal and DEWALT, as well as 120 different timber options.
