CRR: Retail Closures and Job Losses In 2023
The Centre for Retail Research has published data pertaining to retail job losses and store closures during 2023.
The update follows the organisation's August 2023 update and the 2022 summary, published in January 2023, which revealed that 2022 retail job losses reached 151,474, with store closures of 17,145.
According to the data, 10,494 stores closed and 119,405 retail jobs were lost in 2023..
