CRR Data Reveals 2022 Retail Job Losses And Store Closures
The Centre for Retail Research has published data pertaining to retail job losses and store closures for the year ended 31st December 2022.
The update follows the organisation's November 2022 update, and the 2021 summary, published in January 2022, which revealed that 2021 retail job losses reached 105,727, with store closures of 11,459.
To the end of December 2022, current data shows a total of 17,145 stores have closed, with job losses reaching 151,474.
All data tables are from the Centre for Retail Research.
