CMO Appoints Group Technology Director

Online building products retailer CMO Group has pledged further investment into its digital presence with the appointment of Lewis Love to the role of group technology director.

Bringing with him nearly a decade of experience from working with several high growth e-commerce companies, Lewis will play a pivotal role in continuing the advancement all of the retailer’s digital infrastructure and technology roadmap to support CMO’s long-term brand vision and robust e-commerce strategy across its growing retail estate.

Having overseen a variety of different projects throughout his career, resulting in numerous industry award wins, Lewis’ technical knowledge and expertise is set to further solidify CMO’s position as the UK’s largest online-only retailer of building materials.

Commenting on his new role, Lewis said: “CMO is an online builders merchant operating in a traditionally offline market and the opportunity for its growth and development is really exciting. I am looking forward to being able to use my skills and expertise to not only support CMO’s successful digital dropship business model but to further develop how its use of technology can benefit its customers and their online experience.”
