Clas Ohlson launches 'A Better Home' campaign
Clas Ohlson has launched a new TV campaign, encouraging people to reduce their smartphone use and spend more time with their families.
The 'A Better Home' campaign uses the strapline, 'are you actually at home, when you're at home?'. It includes an advert inaturing tips and which a woman finds her home invaded by emails, gossip, news, politics and social media, until she puts the phone down and spends time with her family, instead.
The campaign is running in Finland, Germany, Norway and Sweden.
Clas Ohlson has opened a dedicated microsite featuring tips and tricks to help people put down their technology and use their time more wisely, simplifying their life at home.
Clas Ohlson's head of marketing communications, Melissa Titshall, said: “We’re incredibly excited and proud to launch our A Better Home campaign. Clas Ohlson was founded 100 years ago in Sweden by a father, and our values are centred around the balance of Nordic life and helping those who shop with us to have a balanced life through the innovation, smartness, simplicity and design in our products.
“We are hoping to raise awareness and help people to combat the issue of excessive mobile phone usage, by supplying practical advice and helpful tips and products that, in turn, will create a happy home for our customers to spend time in.”
