Carpetright to Close Plymouth Store

Carpetright is closing one of its Plymouth stores.

The Faraday Mill store, on Cattewater Road, is one of two Carpetright stores in the area and sits alongside a Go Outdoors store.

FItness company The Gym has expressed interest in the site, which is 1,267 sq m in size.

The exact closing date has not been revealed but a document from a planning application submitted by The Gym states that the site: “is shortly to be vacated by the current occupier, Carpetright.”  

Carpetright's other Plymouth store, located in the Marsh Mills area, is to remain open.
