Carpetright Opens First Concession Within Furniture Village
Carpetright has teamed up with Furniture Village and opened its first concession with the British furniture retailer.
Furniture Village revealed the concession at its 3,000sq ft Guildford store, which will sell 89 different product ranges including laminate, vinyl, wood and luxury vinyl tiles.
The concession will be staffed by Carpetright employees and will offer a free measuring and estimating service as well as providing a third-party fitting service.
Carpetright also operates concessions within Morleys, Pearson’s, Barkers, Atkinsons and Browns, and recently ended a partnership with Homebase.
Carpetright chief executive Wilf Walsh said: “It has been great working with the Furniture Village team in getting this brand-new concession up and running, and we are thrilled to be opening our first concession with them.”
Furniture Village chief executive Peter Harrison said: “As one of the UK’s largest general furniture retailers which already service most rooms in the home, it makes good sense that we should explore further ways of extending our product offering.”
