B&M To Take On Former Chepstow Homebase
B&M has confirmed it is to take on another former Homebase store.
Chepstow Homebase - which also had an Argos concession - closed earlier this month following the company's decision not to renew the lease.
Over 80 full-and part-time jobs are being created at the new store in Beaufort Park, Thornwell; 20 of which are to be taken by former Homebase employees.
The new store is expected to open in June of this year and will include a garden centre.
A B&M spokesperson told local press: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store. We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers in June.”
