B&M To Convert Another Former Homebase Unit
A former Homebase unit in Warrington is being converted into a B&M store.
Warrington's existing B&M store is moving from its current location at Unit 6 Riverside Retail Park, to its new home at Unit 1 Riverside Retail Park.
The new store will be around twice the size of the old one and will benefit from a new garden centre area. New jobs have been created, doubling the number of staff from 25 to 50.
The old store will close on Saturday 22nd February 2020 and the new one will reopen less than a week later on Friday 28th February 2020, following a comprehensive internal and external makeover programme.
The Riverside Retail Park Homebase was one of the first 42 Homebase stores to be earmarked for closure after the company's shareholders voted to put a Company Voluntary Arrangement in place.
