B&M Taking On Former Homebase Site in Bingley

A new B&M store is set to open in the former Homebase unit in Crossflatts, Bingley.

The new store and garden centre will open in Ashfield Retail Park on Wednesday, March 13th and is expected to create more than 45 jobs.

B&M's store portfolio has gone from strength to strength in recent months, opening 15 new stores between 1st November and 13th December 2018, including several in the Bradford area.

B&M recently reported that its UK like-for-like sales declined in Q3 following a difficult November, but confirmed a better finish to the quarter with positive UK like-for-like in December. 

A B&M spokesperson said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of more jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door in a few weeks.”
