B&M set to move into its first BHS store

B&M Retail has announced that it is to open its second branch in Hartlepool on 30th November in the Middleton Grange shopping centre’s former BHS store.

It is believed to be the first BHS stores in the UK to secure a new tenant since the high street retailer collapsed into administration earlier this year. The new Hartlepool store will be in addition to the existing B&M home store, located at the marina’s Vision retail park

A B&M representative said: “We’re feeling really positive about the creation of new jobs for local people and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store. We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers through the door next month.”

A notice regarding the conversion of the former BHS unit can be seen in the window.
