B&M Opens New Sheffield Store

B&M was delighted to open a new discount store in the Crystal Peaks shopping centre, Sheffield, on the 14th of August.

The new store opened at 8am and has brought a welcome boost to the local economy with the creation of over 40 new jobs.

After B&M took possesion of a previous Wilko site, extensive internal and external refurbishment took place. Once completed the new store now boasts over 15,000sqft of premium shopping space. The people of Sheffield will find all their favourite brands for prices that can't be beat.

Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink and pet food. There will also be a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.

The colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they think truly deserves some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community. They chose the team from S20 Food Bank to take centre stage and officially unveil the new B&M store.

S20 Food Bank opened 8 years ago and do everything they can to meet the needs of as many people in the community as possible. They do this by providing emergency food who need it whilst also operating as a one stop shop for all around support. This includes inviting representatives from Citizens Advice, Local Council, Employment teams and more. So that those they support and receive a full person-centred approach.

The store manager from B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs for local people, and we hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.”

The store manager also commented: “S20 Foodbank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done. We hope that our donation can help them to continue the great work they do.”
