B&M Bargains to open in Bexhill
B&M Bargains will be opening at the former Curry’s on the Ravenside Retail Park on Wednesday, September 23, at 9am.
The ribbon cutting will be undertaken by representatives from St Michael’s Hospice.
The charity was nominated by the store colleagues and will receive £250 worth of B&M vouchers as a thank you for opening the store.
Trust and corporate fundraiser at the hospice Darran Penfold said: “We were very proud to be invited to the opening of the new B&M store in Bexhill.
“We rely on the support and generosity of local businesses and their customers to ensure we are able to continue to provide our care services to those who need them.
“We’d like to thank the staff and customers of B&M for their kind support and look forward to working together again soon.”
The store sells a wide range of products including groceries, toiletries, toys, home, electrical and seasonal ranges.
Representatives from the hospice will be joined by mayor Maurice Watson.
Store Manager at B&M Bexhill James Lambert said: “B&M is committed to recruiting from the local area and I am delighted we’ve found a great team from in and around Bexhill.
“We’re really proud to be creating up to 60 jobs across the town this year and playing our part in the local community.
“We are excited to get the doors open on Wednesday 23rd September and honoured to have representatives from St Michael’s Hospice alongside the Mayor cutting the ribbon to officially mark the opening of our new store”.
