Love it or loathe it, the American import that is Black Friday is nearly upon us.  We thought we'd take a look at some of the retailers in the DIY and Home Improvement sector to see who was getting involved and, if so, what type of promotions they're running.

We'll be updating this page over the next few days, so don't forget to check back to see if there are any changes.

If you want us to include any other retailers in this list, let us know via social media or drop us an email at news@insightdiy.co.uk.

B&Q - Black Friday fortnight
A range of online offers across DIY, Home & Garden, running until 1st December 2016.

Homebase - No current Black Friday offers
There is still nothing on the Homebase website relating to Black Friday and, given that it is now under Australian ownership - Black Friday adoption is still at an early stage and has yet to officially become a 'thing' in Australia -  it's unlikely that Homebase will participate.

Wickes - Black Friday
Save £10 when you spend £50, or £20 when you spend £100 until Tuesday 6th December.

Wyevale Garden Centres - No current Black Friday offers
The Wyevale website has several deals on Christmas items, but at this point, there are no references to Black Friday.

Dobbies - Black Friday deals 23rd-28th November

Argos' Black Friday deals include 25% off homeware when you spend £30+ and 25% off when you spend £150+ on indoor furniture, as well as a range of discounts on individual items within most categories. Interestingly Argos is the only retailer on our list that specifies that its prices will not change during the Black Friday promotional period.
