BHETA stages Meet the Buyer events with The Garden Centre Group and The Range
BHETA is to hold the sixth event in its extremely successful ‘Meet the Buyer’ retail engagement series – this time with one of the garden industry’s foremost players, The Garden Centre Group. TGCG has 140 garden centres across the UK and a relatively new management team driving the business forward. The event will take place on Friday 23rd May at the Holiday Inn (Brentford Lock), Brentford, Middlesex.
All main product categories – horticulture, gardening and home – will be represented on the day and with eight different buyers attending from TGCG. New and existing TGCG suppliers are welcome and will be allocated twenty minute appointments to present innovative, products, promotions or merchandising concepts. Key themes are cross-selling, right price / best promotion, inspirational visual appeal and range potential i.e. new / exclusive / local / own-label.
BHETA’s Housewares Sector Director, William Jones commented, “The Garden Centre Group is an important target for many of our home enhancement and home improvement members with a wide range of opportunities presented, so this is very exciting.” DIY Sector Director, Peter Stone added, “TGCG is a real coup for BHETA in the sense that it spans garden and home improvement right through to houswares and gift. We anticipate this being a very popular event and advise companies wishing to attend to book early.”

Recognized for its variety with more than 65,000 products across 16 departments including; DIY, Homewares, Furniture, Lighting, Arts & Crafts and Garden, this presents members with an extremely broad spread of opportunities .
The event will take place on Tuesday, 17th June at The Future Inn Hotel in Plymouth International Business Park.
The Ranges’ ethos is to present mid-price home, leisure and garden products, drawing together everything that could be needed for a stylish home, all at affordable prices. New and existing The Range suppliers are welcome and will be allocated twenty minute appointments to present innovative, niche products that can deliver high volume sales at competitive prices and exciting propositions that will complement existing product ranges.
