Betta Living ceases trading

According to its website, kitchen and bedroom retailer Betta Living has ceased trading.

The website - www.bettaliving.co.uk - is currently displaying the following message:

"As at Friday 4th November Betta Living has made an application to appoint an administrator. 

We anticipate the administrator will be appointed next week and will consider all options to try and secure the continuation of the business but at present Betta living has temporarily ceased to trade."

Documents available from Companies House show that Betta Living has been filing as a dormant company for several years and, on 11th October 2016, it received a 'First Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off'. This was followed on the 22nd October with a notice stating that compulsory strike-off action has been discontinued.

Betta Living's social media channels have seen no activity since 31st October.

Competitor Wren Kitchens has immediately responded by placing adverts on Google advising it will honour any quote from betta Living, although this is not yet showing on the Wren website.
