Best and worst kitchen companies revealed by Which?

Which? has published the best and worst kitchen brands based on a survey of more than 2,000 members who’d bought a fitted new kitchen in the past five years.

Their new review of kitchen brands rates the biggest names in kitchens: Ikea, John Lewis, Moben, Magnet, B&Q, Homebase, Wickes and Howdens Joinery.

They’ve ranked the companies according to their overall customer score, which shows how satisfied customers were with the brand, and whether they’d recommend it to a friend.

Discover which budget kitchen company received the following glowing praise: ‘Remarkably good quality for the price.’ And see our kitchen brand overviews to find out the cheapest, most popular and most expensive kitchens from all the brands.

In our poll, 40% of members experienced problems with their kitchen after it had been installed.

So we’ve also published rankings for different brands on their installation service. Our review will tell you which major kitchen specialist scored just 40% for customer satisfaction and prompted one member to comment that ‘actual installation..was poor and expensive’.

We’ve included a kitchen installation checklist to help you avoid the common installation pitfalls.
