Benchmarx Unveils New Holyoake Store

A new kitchen store in Hoylake has been officially opened by The Mayor and Mayoress of Wirral in a ribbon cutting ceremony.  

The new Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery branch, on Carr Lane, was unveiled on Monday 10 January when The Mayor of Wirral, Councillor George Davies and Mayoress, Catherine Davies, cut the ribbon and announced the store officially open to customers. 

Visitors to the store will be able to choose from a range of high-quality kitchen ranges to suit all tastes and pockets as well as leading brands in appliances, worktops and joinery. As a member of the Travis Perkins group, customers will have access to more than 25,000 building materials and products on site, which also includes a tools and plant hire section, providing everything needed to complete a project, all under one roof. 

In addition, the branch will be offering a free professional kitchen design service, helping local tradespeople and homeowners alike to create a kitchen to suit any home and budget. 

The Mayor of Wirral, Councillor George Davies, said: “It was a pleasure to officially open the new Benchmarx store. Everyone knows it has been a turbulent time for many businesses, particularly physical stores that have been unable to open during lockdowns or have had to adapt to restrictions. I’m therefore delighted to welcome Benchmarx to Hoylake, along with the new jobs it has created in the region.”

Customers can choose to shop online, in branch or by using the new Travis Perkins app. The industry-first app has been designed in conjunction with customers to help them save time and work smarter by enabling them to check and order stock on the go at their personal trade prices in real time from their local branch.
