Bathroomcompare.com launches first exclusive retail voucher
Bathroomcompare the Independent company that publishes and tracks on a daily basis the bathroom prices across the multiple retailers has this week launched its first exclusive retailer voucher.
Described as a 'significant step in the development of the Bathroomcompare brand', their Commercial Director Steve Collinge stated that 'this initiative adds another dimension for both consumers and our retailer partners'.
The first exclusive voucher on the website, this one from B&Q, offers 10% off the fully installed price of a new bathroom, including the product. Although there's a minimum spend of £3,000, with the cost of an average installed bathroom being around £6,000, this voucher will save consumers up to £600.
'Demand has so far surpassed all expectations and with the voucher expected to feature on a number of the well known money saving websites, Collinge believes the numbers could be market changing.
The process appears fairly simple and easy. A consumer clicks on the voucher located within the pricing pages of the website, which takes them through to the contact us page where they enter their email address. The voucher containing a bar code is then emailed directly to the consumer who can print it off and redeem in store at the time of purchase.
As the vouchers are in addition to retailer corporate activity, they can also be used very effectively by store staff to close the deal with consumers.
Retailer partners have the opportunity to offer up to 12 vouchers a year, which can include anything from percentage savings to free of charge items.
It's assumed that this initiative will also be added to their Kitchencompare website for the peak kitchen buying season from September and there's also an option to open up the vouchers to suppliers.
