ASOS to launch own-brand homeware line

Global fast-fashion etailer, ASOS, is understood to be branching out into own-brand homewares.
ASOS already sells a selection of homeware items from third parties but is looking to expand in the sector. The company recently posted a job advert for a homeware designer to work on an "exciting new ASOS Homeware collections", stating that the job would involve: "Developing and designing multi product ranges including textiles, ceramics and hard goods"
No details have been released about the new product lines, but Hello! magazine reported that over the coming months ASOS will be "introducing you to a roster of new home accessory brands as well as completely new ASOS brand coming to you in 2019".
ASOS reported group revenue of £1,923.6m and retail sales of £1,876.5m in 2017, an increase of 33% and 34% respectively on 2016.
