Many homeowners will already be familiar with the likes of Pinterest and Houzz, both of which are often among the first ports of call for design inspiration. When it comes to tracking the progress of home renovation, Homezada does this in a detailed yet very presentable fashion.

Apps like Color911 and TapPainter are perfect for choosing colours, as they give you a clear idea of how a colour will appear in the context of a room so that you can decide whether it’s a good fit or not. This can save a lot of hassle and expense further down the line if you picked a colour that did not sit well within a room.
