E.commerce continues to make a significant impact on the retail landscape and is projected for further growth in the foreseeable future. The UK consumer is at the forefront of this digital evolution and Amazon are currently recognised as one of the leading e-tail platforms in the field.

To help suppliers gain a better understanding of the phenomenon Amazon Category Leaders Jeff Wemyss and Oliver Sawers will be using the next BHETA Networking Forum to share how digital innovation is fuelling the Amazon business and the opportunities that this presents to existing and potential suppliers seeking revenue growth. The Forum will take place on April 21st and will be held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

The new Amazon team intend to build an ongoing relationship with BHETA and its members and this initial presentation will include an update on the progress of the Amazon business, an introduction to innovations which are particularly relevant for the Housewares, SDA, Home Improvement and Tools & Garden Power categories, plus the opportunity to network with the Amazon buying team.

BHETA is also pleased to welcome Decco – Chief Operating Officer – Charlie Lacey who will be outlining to suppliers the opportunities that 7 UK based distribution centres servicing UK High St retailers and garden centres can provide.

Market research experts GFK – will be presenting relevant updates covering all the key industry sectors and providing an interesting insight into the progress being made by E-commerce.

One of the biggest challenges currently facing suppliers is the ongoing issue of the exchange rate fluctuations and its impact on the cost of goods post-Brexit. Clive Daley of mdj2 Associates has extensive knowledge and experience from both a retailer and supplier perspective has agreed to share with you his suggestions and offer some practical solutions on how to handle this situation.

There will also be the opportunity to network with a host of BHETA service providers who will be on hand to provide up to date details on all of their latest initiatives designed to help and support your business.

Once again we anticipate this BHETA Forum will be particularly popular and therefore will take place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The member price to attend this event will be £45.00 + vat per person to cover administrative and venue costs. The non-member rate will be £149.00 + vat per person. The cost includes free car parking and a networking buffet lunch. The event will start at 10.00am with registration from 9.15am. Directions to the event can be found HERE

Applications to attend the forum should be made to Dawn Clarke of the Member Services Team on dc@bheta.co.uor 0121 237 1130, by completing and returning Booking Form found HERE
