Amazon launches Prime Now in Paris

Amazon.fr today launched Prime Now, a new service dedicated to members of Amazon Prime program.

With the Prime Now mobile app, available on smartphones and tablets, Amazon customers Premium program members can benefit from delivery in an hour to € 5.90 on a selection of over 18,000 references - some exclusively available on application Premium Now - such as fresh and frozen products. Now Prime is also available in 2 hours, free.

With Prime Now, Parisian customers and many communes in the inner suburbs will be available at any time of essential everyday products: sourdough bread Eric Kayser, dairy Danone fresh, frozen products McCain or Häagen- Dazs, fruit and vegetables, coffee and layers, but also childcare articles, beauty and hygiene products, wine and alcoholic beverages. Amazon will also offer many references especially popular as video games and toys.

To meet this logistical challenge, all the orders of Prime Now will be delivered from the new Amazon distribution center of 4,000 sqm located in Paris.

All members of the Amazon Prime program can already download the application Prime Now available on iOS and Android, to see if Prime Now available in their city and ask to be notified by email when the service will be made available. Customers can also enter their ZIP code directly on the site www.amazon.fr/primenow to discover the cities covered by the service.

Now Prime customers can choose between a delivery in one hour for € 5.90 or free delivery within a niche of two hours, from 8 am to 22h every day of the week for a minimum of € 20 per order shopping .

With the application Prime Now, Amazon customers enjoy a unique shopping experience and be able to follow in real time the status of their order and the way of their delivery person on a map.

To access the service Prime Now, nothing more simple: the members of the Amazon Prime program can use their existing Amazon IDs and payment settings.
