Amazon Appoints New UK Finance Chief
Amazon has appointed Jeremy Martin as the financial head of its UK business.
He replaces Jeff Stauber who has moved to Seattle as the head of finance for Worldwide Amazon Logistics, a division which is working on Amazon's plan to improve its free, global, two-day shipping service for Prime members, to one-day shipping.
The service is already offered on many UK items and same-day delivery is also available in some areas but in many parts of the US for example, two-day shipping is standard.
Mr Martin has worked for Amazon for seven years, holding senior financial roles in the advertising team and, most recently, held the position of head of finance for Amazon Europe's Fashion business.
