3rd Global DIY Summit described as 'absolutely incredible'

3rd Global DIY Summit 2015

"Absolutely Incredible" is how one of the retail leaders in our industry described the presence of more than 750 delegates, both retailers and suppliers, at the 3rd Global DIY Summit in London, which Included almost all the CEO's of the number one home improvement players from all continents around the world; Europe, Australia, Asia, North America and South America.

The keynote speech was a brilliant presentation given by Robert A. Niblock, the Chairman and CEO of the world's second largest player - Lowe's USA.

The suppliers were also well represented coming from around the world and presentations were given by the CEO of the top leading brands such as Bosch Power Tools, Kaercher and Stanley Black and Decker.

Another highlight was the visit to the famous historic London Guildhall for the Gala Dinner. In such splendid surroundings Jim Inglis, a leading Global Consultant, was presented with the Global Lifetime Award following a most fitting laudatory speech from Sandro Solari formerly CEO of Sodimac and now Group CEO of the parent company Fallebella. An unforgettable evening! The Global DIY Summit has now become a "networking institution" and a must go to event.

On leaving this event one of the suppliers representatives proudly showed the many business cards he had collected from the retailers he had met saying it was "simply amazing" and asked when the next event would take place... it will be Stockholm next year on 8-9 June. Make a note in your diary now!
