Since the beginning of 2018, over 22,000 retail jobs have been lost in the UK, an increasing number of these from Home Improvement retailer head offices and stores.
Since 2014, B&Q and Homebase have closed a total of 168 Big Box DIY stores in the UK and in recent months B&Q, Wickes and Homebase have cut more than 600 Head Office roles between them.
This means there is a large number of skilled, experienced people currently looking for a new job in our industry, people who can instantly add value to any retail business.
With over 45,000 people and more than 5,000 companies accessing Insight DIY every month, we've decided to open up our recruitment section as a completely free of charge service to retailers, with the objective of finding the right people to fill the large number of current vacancies.
